States of water, states of mind

States of water, states of mind is an installation, a pool box with water projected with images, light reflects to the wall, overlapping the projected image on the wall. audience interacts with the lighted-up pool and waves created, movement of reflections then appear on the wall. This dual-channel moving image set-up allows audiences to enjoy either one or together in their way. When audiences look at the projection on the wall, they could barely see the overlapping reflected projection that comes from the box. Only if they dare to touch the water. And moving reflection will appear.

Tung Chung, the place where the film was shot, is a newly developed city, but there are also fishing villages where people interact differently with water and the sea. The film juxtaposes the movements of people and water, hoping to show how similar we are to water.
